Lead Abatement
The goal of this program is to educate the parents about lead. The Center is trying to contact landlords, clean out windowsills and review the needs of the families with regard to ashma and lead triggers. Lead does cause asthma. The center visits schools, arranges for children to be tested for lead poisoning and also works with daycare centers to educate them on cleaning their homes.
