About Us
In 1990, the Dominican Center for Women was founded in Minneapolis, Minnesota by two Sinsinawa Dominican Sisters, Ann Halloran and Anne-Marie Doyle.
Although Sister Doyle passed away in 2005, Sister Halloran continues to expand the Center's significant and vital mission to dismantle poverty in Milwaukee.
This dream is steadily becoming a reality through the courage and support of an amazing group of women and men who make up the Dominican Center.
On June 30, 2010, Sister Ann Halloran retired.
